Membership Pause

If you're travelling, injured, or need a short break — you can pause your membership instead of cancelling. We're happy to offer temporary holds for flexibility while keeping your spot secure.

Pause Terms

Membership pauses are available in 1‑ or 2‑month blocks at a cost of £25 per month.
You can pause your membership for up to 3 months per calendar year.
Holds are only available once you’ve been an active member for at least 2 full months.
Cut‑Off Date: Pause requests must be submitted by the last day of the month to take effect from the 1st of the following month.
Requests submitted after the last day of the month will take effect from the 1st of the month after next.

During the Pause

No classes or Open Gym may be used during your pause. If you attend a session, your membership will be immediately reactivated, and standard charges will apply.
Your monthly billing will resume automatically after the hold period unless you request otherwise.
All payments are non‑refundable.
If you wish to cancel your membership during the pause, a 1‑month written notice is still required, starting from the 1st of the month after your cancellation request.

Example

Submit pause request on August 15 for one month → Pause starts September 1 – September 30.
Submit pause request on August 31 for one month → Pause starts September 1 – September 30.
Submit pause request on September 2 for one month → Pause starts October 1 – October 31.
Cancel during September pause on September 20 → Notice starts October 1 → Membership ends October 31.

Longer-Term Pause Requests

For longer holds due to pregnancy, surgery, or significant life events, the same terms apply. Requests beyond 3 months may be reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis. Please still submit your request by the last day of the month.

Reactivating Later

If you reactivate your membership after a pause or cancellation, please note that current membership rates will apply at the time of reactivation.

Reason for Pause

I understand that the pause will start on the 1st of the next calendar month following this request, unless submitted after the last day of the month, in which case it will start on the 1st of the month after next.

I acknowledge that all payments are non‑refundable and that my membership term will be extended by the length of the pause.

I am aware that holds are available only after I’ve been a member for a minimum of 2 full months, and that I can pause my membership for up to 3 months total in a year.

I understand that if I use the gym during the pause period, my membership will be reactivated immediately and regular charges will apply.

I acknowledge that if I decide to cancel my membership during the pause period, a 1‑month written cancellation notice is required, and I will be charged for the notice period as well as any applicable contract adjustment fees.

I understand that if I reactivate my membership after cancelling, the current rates at the time of reactivation will apply.
